Pretty Literati is an independent art studio founded by Chester-based artist Tamzin Woodward, specialising in architectural portraits of heritage buildings.

Working in graphite pencil, her work explores historic architecture as a palimpsest, revealing layers of history accumulated over time. Her drawings combine meticulous architectural detail with a fascination for the distinctive character and enduring beauty of historic buildings.

She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Design & Illustration from the University of Wales. Her work has been selected for the ING Discerning Eye 2026 exhibition at Mall Galleries, London, from 13–21 November 2026.
